JOBST® Comprifore: The easy-to-use multi-layer bandaging set for sustained compression. The JOBST® Comprifore multi-layer set contains all components needed for adequate compression in the treatment of venous leg ulcers. With the new Cutimed® Sorbact® WCL it additionally offers a wound contact layer that provides bacterial and fungal binding action to reduce the risk of infection.
INDICATIONS
- Compression can be considered the cornerstone in the therapy of venous leg ulcers. As indicated by numerous studies, adequate compression supports venous flow and shows significant effects on deep venous haemodynamics – ultimately providing large improvements in pain, mobility and general quality of life for the patient.
